    SupremeCorq makes synthetic closures for the wine industry. Their timing couldn’t have been better. Quality cork was getting harder and harder to find. In fact, inferior corks were responsible for nearly two percent of corked wines annually. Unacceptable. Yet many wineries resisted change. The idea of "synthetic," and the winemaker’s art, seemed a contradiction. SupremeCorq wanted winemakers to know that they understood and honored their traditions. Furthermore, they wanted to assure winemakers that their closures kept fine wine fine. They also knew that competitors would soon be nipping at their heals. To build trust, trial and presence, SupremeCorq did something largely unheard of for a company its size: Global advertising. Their superior products, and news of them, helped SupremeCorq build a reputation for closures that truly did “keep fine wines fine.”
